How would you describe your new single?

Darker vibe. Sad, raw and an emotional short story. This song has a lot of personal meaning to me (patient x). .. I have always believed that 'What goes up, doesn't always come back down'. If you are struggling with depression or anxiety especially in social situations do not turn to drugs to appear "normal". I would like to encourage people who are going through this struggle to remember there will always be someone out there who will listen and help you. Think about the people you could be leaving behind and reach out to them for help.

Why do you enjoy creating music?

I create music to push myself out of my comfort zone. I write and sing about past experiences. My focus is to connect to people on an emotional and personal level through the music.

Everyone needs to find their "something". Singing and songwriting is something that makes me happy. There's nothing more motivating than receiving a message from someone I have never met before telling me how much they enjoy my music. It's very encouraging to be praised for the projects I have put so much of myself into.

I've always been into music ever since I was young. I grew up with an opera singer as a mother so music has always been there as a part of my upbringing. My passion for writing and created music started when I picked up the guitar at age 8.

I am self-taught and always sank my emotions and troubles into my music be it if I'm singing a cover or writing my stuff.

I've always been a shy/anxious person so singing in front of people has never been my strong suit but whenever I did I would receive positive feedback that would continue to motivate me and push me out of my comfort zone. I started taking this more seriously towards the end of 2018. 2018 was rough for me having lost a close family member, loved ones and friends all within the same year. It was all a bit of a wake-up call. I realized life goes too quickly and it is time I need to start doing what makes me happy rather than what makes everyone else happy.

My two biggest influences would have to be

1 - Ed Sheeran because of his style of music and how captivating his story was and how super talented he is I have always dreamed of being as talented as him.

2 - I'd have to go with the artist blackbear. when I heard his style of music I was so inspired to make a similar style. I love the trap/RnB style just as much as acoustic.

What’s coming up next?

I am in the process of making my next single! Overdose has sprung forward so quickly. This has been a terrific experience and I can’t wait to bring another single to release.
