This is a song about betrayal and how it can change you. After it happens to you it’s like you were in a dream as far as your relationship with the betrayer was concerned.
A friend of mine once told me that music is like gravity; it always has & always will exist all around us in nature, but in order to test the effects of gravity, you need an object. I believe that humans are the object or medium for music. At least, that's how I've always felt about my relationship with music.
the process of writing my last album Out of Left Field. I was withering down my options on producers for my music, hence the title "Then There Were Two". I talk about my producer Maddfrequency and Nico from Sweetspot studio pushing me to my lyrical limits and I am also talking to the love of my life, her name is Hip Hop.
Being a US veteran gives you training in focus and clarity on who you are as a person, you then become a person of intense action and when I perform I bring that, when I write people feel that and so does the producer I work with. People will find this song relatable, honest, raw but inspirational because my entire album is the essence on how hip hop can save you and give you hope where there may not be any.
